A Curious Musing
We are all formed from the earth, so I guess we are but sand. Yet when heat and pressure are applied to sand over time, a rock is formed.
HEAT + PRESSURE = ROCK.
So I guess it’s safe to conclude that heat and pressure are necessary to make us strong. Each of our personal sufferings, help to transform us into beautiful, unique, solid individuals. This means that with time we will no longer feel like we are being shifted through the sieve of life. A rock will not fall through the cracks.
The Book of Peter says;
“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you: But rejoice, inasmuch as you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.” [1 Peter 4:12-13]
“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.” [1 Peter 1:7]
“But if you suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are you: and be not afraid of their terror, nor be troubled; For it is better, if the will of God be so, that you suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.” [1 Peter 3: 14&17]
“But the God of all grace, who has called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered awhile, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” [ 1 Peter 5:10]
So be it.
